Final Fantasy X, commonly referred to as FFX is a RPG (role playing game) for the Playstation2. You have the option of choosing to read the short-summary or the in-depth summary.

Short Summary: Tidus is a cheerful young teenager, the star blitzball player for the Zanarkand Abes. He has long resented his father, a renowned blitzball player who disappeared during Tidus's youth. He suddendly find himself in a stange, new world struggling to defeat a mysterious power known as "Sin".

Indepth Summary: Tidus lives in a machine (machine) city known as Zanarkand. There he is a carefree teenager, devoting his time to blitzball as the starplayer of the Zanarkand Abes like his father before him. During one of his matches, a mysterious foe known as "Sin" attacks Zanarkand, and Tidus suddendly finds himself in a strange, new world.

He begins to realize in this world, Spira, that he is in the future. He is in a place where there is "Sin" the world's punishment for sloth. Not only that, but he is pushed to the harsh realization, that his precious Zanarkand, lay in ruins. Fearing that there will be no return home for him, he meets a summoner named Yuna. As these two develop a close bond, he learns of summoners and the pilgrimege to defeat Sin. Wanting to know the truth about his Zanarkand, as well as protecting his new companion, he joins Yuna on her journey, as her guardian. This, is his story.
