Yuna: Yuna, the brave and strong summoner becomes the love of Tidus's life. In the beginning of the game, he hardly knows Yuna. Before even knowing who she is, a priest tells him that an apprentice summoner has spent too much time than needed while praying to the fayth. Being the individual he is, he becomes concerned for the summoner, a complete stranger he hasn't even met and he attempts to help the summoner. Once Yuna is out of harm's way, for the time being, Yuna feels a certain quality about him, that leads her to the decision of him becoming her guardian. When he becomes a guardian for Yuna, they become friends and begin to understand a special connection between each other. This results in eternal love, a bond that cannot be broken.

Auron: Auron has watched over Tidus ever since the disappearance of his father, Jecht. Auron has played the role of a father by watching over him and giving Tidus advice when needed. Auron, played a part in bringing Tidus to Spira, to begin his journey to confront Sin.

Lulu: Tidus looks to Lulu for answers about Spira and Sin. After all, he has lived in a world where there is no Sin. Now, he is confused and she is the person with the knowledge of such things. Lulu is the one who gives Tidus friendly advice, such as telling him not to tell others that he is from Zanarkand for his own good.

Wakka: Immediately, when Tidus meets Wakka, he decides to take Tidus in and shelter him. To Wakka, he is like Chappu, Wakka's deceased brother. The mere appearance between Tidus and Wakka makes him want to think that Tidus is Chappu, yet it is not so. This is why Wakka has a love for Tidus because he is so much like his brother. Tidus treats him the same way, in such as way that they are like brothers, both with a funny sense of humor and a love for blitzball.

Kimahri: At first, these two do not get along. Kimahri is very protective of Yuna, and really doesn’t want Tidus having any connections with her. Although, in time, the two begin to understand each other and become friends and help each other through thick-and-thin.

Rikku: Rikku and Tidus incredibly similar. They even share the qualities of brother and sister! Their hair and personalities are also strangely alike. Both of them have strong feelings for Yuna and they do their best to think of a way to not let her die trying to defeat Sin. At times, they have have arguments like brother and sister, which helps lift off some of the heavy burdens they go through.

Jecht: Jecht is the father of Tidus. All of Tidus's life he has to put up with his father. As a child, Jecht would always mock him and say he was better than Tidus. Because of this, as Tidus grew older he developed a strong hate for his father. During some scenes in the game, Jecht asked Auron to watch over his son from him, a clear statement of love. At heart, Jecht had always loved Tidus, but was never good at showing it, and always tried hiding his feelings. At the end of the game and both Tidus and Jecht share their last words together. Although Tidus always swayed from being like his father, it was inevitable. Both cared for their summoner and would have done anything to help the summoner. At the end, they both realize that they love each other, and their previous feelings are were completly forgotten.

Seymour: Tidus never liked Seymour from the start, it was an instinct he had about him. Tidus becomes jealous when Seymour proposes to Yuna to marry him and Tidus does his best to get in the way of the marriage ;) . They don't ever make up and they stay ultimate rivals during the game.

Fans: Ahh! We cannot forget Tidus' beloved fans on Zanarkand! He loved them all and always treated them fairly. He gave a "funny" mock about being the star player of the Zanarkand Abes, yet he never meant it seriously. He would always have fun with crowd and was always ready to please his fans.
