Tidus' overdrives consists of different methods of slashing ;). When performing the overdrive, a bar runs across a middle section several times. When you think the bar crosses the middle section, press "X". The faster you complete this, the more damage Tidus will do when performing the overdrive. The more he uses his overdrive, the more techniques he will learn.
