MAJOR SPOILERS! You have been warned!

Tidus's story soon comes to a close. He must overcome his struggles and fears; and he does just that. He finally understands his father's wrongs, and why he treated Tidus the way he did. Not only that, Tidus found a way to break the ever-going cycle of Sin. The way to break that cycle, as follows:

1) Destroy Sin

2) Destroy the aeons

3) Defeat Yu Yevon

4) Send aeons, Sin, all the unsents, and Yu Yevon.

Meaning all the unsents, that also means dreams. Tidus is a dream, or more, a made up memory. Long ago there was a war between Zanarkand and Bevelle. Bevelle used so much machina, that the summoners knew Zanarakand was to come to an end. Therefore, the summoners became fayths and made dreams, such as Tidus and Jecht, to make a virtual Zanarkand and preserve is in a dream. The fayths had been dreaming for so long that they were tired (tired of dreaming? how does that work?) and it is time for them to stop dreaming. Therefore, Yuna needs to send all the dreams of Zanarkand. This is the end of Tidus story.

Or not? At the end of the credits, Tidus wakes up from a long nap... and then swims up to sea, where then we see the FFX logo. So perhaps this has something to do with FFX-2. Perhaps we will see Tidus.
