Why James McAvoy?

When I saw Children of Dune I was blown away at what a great actor James was. He is a very talented actor and he has very few websites on the net, so I decided to create him a fanlisting, as well as a fansite. James truly deserves it because he was excellent in Children of Dune. He has shown great talent in his other projects, so I feel that he needs to be recognized.

About the name

I got the site name from a line that Leto II (James McAvoy) speaks in Children of Dune. The line is:
"I will face my fear... I will let it pass though me!"

The site's name also applies to James in real life. Here is a piece of an interview that Scotland on Sunday did with James in January 2004:

Danger has always floated McAvoy’s boat. There are those of us whose idea of a thrill is a king-sized Dairy Milk. McAvoy prefers his laced with potential disaster. You know that way, he explains, when you are a kid and you are desperate to try opening the car door when it’s moving just to see what happens? Er, no. Must be a guy thing.

"You’re just testing your boundaries," he explains, "your physical limitations." I can’t help thinking I’d rather live in ignorance of my physical limitations than die in certain knowledge of them, but then I’m not a lad. Or an actor.
