Born in 1979 in Glasgow, Scotland, James McAvoy is making a name for himself on T.V. programs such as Shameless and State of Play, but also in mini-series such as Frank Herbert’s Children of Dune and Band of Brothers. Since 2000, James has lived in London. He was brown hair and blue eyes and stands 5 feet and 7 inches. For school he studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
For BBC Productions James has been seen in Lorna Doone, Inspector Lynley Mysteries, and Murder in Mind. In theater, some of his credits include: Romeo and Juliet, Beauty and the Beast, Privates on Parade, and West Side Story. Some movies to his name are Bright Young Things, Bollywood Queen, The Swimming Pool, among others.
