At the age of 12, I began my first blog through a application similar to Wordpress. At the time, it was a light hobby that kept me entertained as a teen. While not many people read my blog on a regular basis, I think it is important to keep some sort of record of your daily life for sentimental value. Furthermore, it gives me a means to motivate myself and provide myself for goals for this website and my collegiate career.

However, I created the layout archive as a personal way for me, and other resources to see how my abilities in web design (and perhaps even subject matter) have evolved over the years.

Final Fantasy VIII possesses extensive characters that add real depth to the game. As a result, Edea's character is truly entrancing. While her initial character seems malign, her true character is quite the opposite. Edea is such a compelling and mysterious character, that no matter whether what side she's on it is impossible to play the game without questioning her history.

Subject: Gackt's Rebirth album fanlisting

Gackt was one of the first Jrock artists I really appreciated. The Rebirth album is such a unique work of Gackt's that it is nearly impossible to pin down a favorite track. The album itself is filled with moving songs such as Secret Garden and Sayonara, that have lyrics that pull at your heartstrings. Likewise, there are fun and energetic songs such as Marmalade and Papa Lapped a Pap Lopped, that will put a smile on your face any day.

While Kidd doesn't fit the personality type for many Square games, she certainly makes her own especially distinctive. She appears to be a very spunky and energetic girl (not to mention Australian?), but also has a deep past that is linked to the storyline of Chrono Trigger that makes her history highly interesting.

Last Exile was probably the first anime that I watched as a early teen. I remember watching the marathon from early Christmas morning and well into the night. I'm not sure why I fell in love with the series, it was either its storyline, characters, music, or a combination of it all. To me, it was a perfect entrance into the anime world.

Malice Mizer was one of the first visual kei bands that I discovered when I was younger. I was entranced by their daring and exeuberant clothing styles, there was definitely nothing like it overseas in America. Furthermore, the music was strangely unique. Oftentimes, bands like Moi Dix Mois incorporated classical music that made the music something truly wonderful.

I fell in love with Final Fantasy X and received it for my birthday one year. Tidus is by far my favorite character in this game as he is not only lively and energetic, maybe a little clumsy and stubborn? But also, he is a character who truly fells for the rest of the party, and he has a strong heart that is set to do good.

At the age of 12, I found myself clicking on some random sites and stepped into the world of Jrock and Jpop. While I used to listen to a lot of mainstream Japanese music, my tastes have greatly changed since then. Now, I listen to mostly mainstream Jrock, along with some not so mainstream bands that can most likely be labeled as alternative. There are so many Japanese bands out there that don't get enough recognition, so this is my attempt to get them more widely known in America.
